Eskape to Seven Fish Success!

The hectic vibe has subsided slightly and we're left bereft of charity fever as we reflect on what a success our ' Eskape to Seven Fish' eve was.

From the seating plan to the auction board - EVERYTHING had to be planned to the most minute detail. We all worked so hard and to all those who had a hand in helping did us very proud indeed. We're so grateful to so many.

Abseil Eskapade!

Thought those of you lovely People who sponsored us and supported us so amazingly through our Abseil escapade would want to know how we did at the weekend.

We really took to the Sky's with bravery. It helped that we had an entourage of Family Friends and Colleagues who all gave up their afternoon to come and watch us bounce downward from one hundred feet off of Poole tower.

We all enjoyed a very hectic December with no spaces whatsoever to be seen in the diary...It was great to see every Stylist's column totally chocker block and a cancellation list as long as your arm with eagerly awaiting Clients needing hair ups for Christmas party's, red streaks for festive cheer and hair extensions for New Years Eve. There was a great buzz amongst Staff and Clients alike. The best Christmas yet at Eskape.

January was a bit of a bang after such a busy December but that's January for you...everyone saving their pennies and paying off credit cards. Heidi being Heidi with a stronger drive than anyone I have known decided to put the quieter period in to good use and plan a charity event. She got us all on board and now we all have charity event fever. It's our second event in the three years at Eskape so we have ample experience at getting it right. We really hope you can all come along and support us and a fantastic cause. I have a feeling it'll be a wonderful evening...Here are the details:

Eskape to Seven Fish, Ringwood on April 30th 2010 from 7pm - late for the Starlight Childrens Foundation. There will be music, a sumptuous fork buffet, a charity Auction, Champagne Reception, scrummy cocktails, wine tasting and a chance to mingle and enjoy yourselves amongst your loved ones...Bring whoever you like. The more the merrier!! Tickets are £30 each and selling fast so do pop in or call us to reserve your tickets.

Starlight Childrens Foundation provides seriously and terminally ill children with a dream come true and helps make their time in Hospital as fun as can be by providing entertainment, toys and things that help to take their minds off of the pain they may be in. They started a while ago and helped 4 children in their first year of opening and they now help 50,000 children a year!! Check out their web site for more details...

We really hope to see you there!! Please come along and support us.

Until next time...

Lou

A warm Hello to you all!!

Most of you know me as Lou, the Receptionist at Eskape and will have met me many times. For those of you who I haven't had the pleasure of meeting yet I very much look forward to it in the near future...

We've certainly had an eventful few months here at Eskape. Where shall I begin??
We were going to move premises and now...we're not. As a result of the uncertainties we've found this to be a lttle unsettling for Staff and and Clients alike, however, we're pleased to announce we are in fact staying firmly put at 23a Market Place, Ringwood.

It has been a great pleasure to welcome a new influx of Staff to add to our budding team. We have bid farewell to the much loved Elaine and have taken the lovely Ali on board as our superb Senior Stylist who worked along side Heidi many moons ago and so the pair are happily reunited . Ali has slotted in to place beautifully and has received some excellent feedback from Clients already...
The arrival of Lucy to our ever increasing clan has been an equal delight. She is qualified in Gents cutting and just completed, along with Amie the Racoon training in Hair Extensions, which they are already putting to good use...Lucy is uber organised with a fine eye for attention to detail - often reminding us airheads of the little things we forget from time to time.
Roxy left...for a few weeks, only to swiftly return after she realised we aren't such a bad bunch after all. We, of course welcomed her back with open arms - as did her Clientelle who are delighted with her wise decision to return.
And last, but certainly not least we would like to introduce our part time Stylist Gemma to the Salon, who is new to the area but to the industry. Gemma has already made an impression on Clients with her excellent techniques and Bubbly personality.

Ceremony Treatments are back for the lead up to Christmas and beyond...Those of you who are unsure of what thy're about, allow me to explain. Ceremony treatments are the ultimate in pampering. If you ask any of our Clients who have had the pleasure of experiencing one of these amazingly relaxing treatments, they will tell you just how heavenly they are. We start by establishing exactly what treatment you'd like for your hair type to enable it to look it's most beautiful, you tell us your desired outcome and we'll help you achieve it. A wonderful head massage will follow accompanied by a glass of wine whilst your bathed in candle light and totally relaxing whilst soft music fills the air. Throw in a hand and foot massage to totally bliss you out ...places fill up quickly so book soon to avoid disappointment. We're currently offering 25% discount on ceremony treatments which is another great reason to get in there quickly!!

Late night shopping takes place on friday Dec 4th and we are open, so come join in the christmas cheer with a glass of mulled wine (or three) and a mince pie.

So, with the comings and goings of Staff and the good news that we're rooted to the spot, we embrace the new year with the ultimate positivity. We've never had such a better team or a more cherished Clientelle and we want to continue to work the way we do , always with your best interests at heart. We always welcome your feedback so don't hesitate to tell us if you think we can do things better.

Have a relaxing and steady lead up to Christmeas and don't forget to in for a glass of mulled wine and a mince pie.

Until next time....

Lou
